APRIL 17TH/2020 AN INTIMATE NIGHT WITH HELIX
This is going to be a very special show that die hard Helix fans won’t want to miss. The band will be performing their hits acoustically with the help of special guests Cindy Wiechmann (the only female member of the band over their 46 year career) and Beth Bartley, a professional fiddle player who also played with the band last year when they played at the Blythe Theater. In between songs the band will be telling stories of how the songs came to be, the time period they songs were written, and whatever stories come to mind. They will also be performing songs that aren’t usually in the live electric show-tunes like Look Me Straight in the Heart and Tug o’ War (from It’s a Business Doing Pleasure) and You’re a Woman Now (from the band’s first indie album Breaking Loose/1979) . We would also like to mention here that this will be Kaleb’s second last date with the band unless he comes back to help fill in on some future Helix date.
Tickets will be available at The Masonic Temple, local Stratford records, and through the Planet Helix website around the December/January period. There is limited seating at The Masonic Temple, so make sure you pick up your tickets now. Makes a great Christmas gift for that die-hard Helix fan.
