1984 WALKING THE RAZOR’S EDGE
With barely time to catch our breath after the continuous touring on No Rest for the Wicked we headed back to Phase 1 Studios in Toronto to record our second Captiol/E.M.I. album WALKING THE RAZOR’S EDGE. Canadian radio had started to sit up and notice the band after ignoring us on our first relese. It was also the first year for Much Music in Canada, and when the first single ROCK YOU was released it became an instant smash hit in both the U.S. and Canada. We toured the U.S. with Quiot Riot and Whitesnake. In Europe we toured with Motorhead once again, and in Canada we opened for Triumph on their Thunder 7 tour.
Walking the Razor’s Edge produced 3 hits: Rock You, Gimme Good Lovin’, and Make Me Do Anything You Want. In Canada the album went double platinum. Intially we started recording once again with Tom Tremouth but the album ended up being mixed by Rodney Mills in Atlanta, Georgia.
